That’s why we have asked our employees for you as to what they want from Calyxo as an employer. And what they don’t want. The make-up of their work. Their day-to-day activity. But why not read about it yourself?
Dana Knüpfer
Operator
As a qualified retail business administrator, I have been very successful in my activities as a retail manager. However, in 2007, I decided to change my professional orientation. I first heard about Q-Cells from friends and acquaintances. Manufacturing solar cells sounded very interesting and appealing. I wanted to get involved in this challenging field. With a little bit more background research, I came across the fledgling subsidiary, Calyxo. At the end of 2007, I sent my application to Calyxo, and I was invited to an interview. That went so well, that after 17 successful years, I left the retail business. At Calyxo, I work with a marvellous team, and I’m very proud to be a “Calyxan”.

Process Manager
My career and experience to date is very closely linked to the manufacture of float glass, as I worked for over 12 years in the American Guardian Group in different managerial positions in the Process and Production divisions. A short time ago I moved over to the sunny side, and now I am experiencing the exciting start-up atmosphere of a young solar company that has set itself ambitious targets and works with unbelievable drive. Calyxo GmbH offers the extremely interesting challenge of converting a newly developed, innovative technology into industrial mass production and being actively involved in the organisation of this. For me personally, the particular appeal in all this lies in refining a traditional pane of glass into a future-oriented power product.
